ABOUT THIS COURSE
When leading and managing others in health care organizations, one must frequently work across functions, distance and cultures.
This course focuses on the core, practical skills that leaders need to succeed in a health care environment. It introduces several pragmatic tools for engagement and influence, which are particularly useful when you need to gain the commitment and cooperation of people outside your sphere of organizational authority. The course will address what it means to be engaged—and to engage others—by tapping into people’s potential.
EXPECT TO LEARN HOW TO:
- discuss the challenges of the physician leader role;
- outline the key components of the human resource development process; and
- design and apply best practices to optimize effectiveness in the human resource development process.
This course can be tailored and delivered* to physicians and/or interdisciplinary teams at your organization, meeting or conference. We’d be happy to work with you to find the right course for you and your organization. Please complete this brief questionnaire, and one of our learning specialists will get back to you to discuss options.
*Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, courses will be delivered virtually until further notice.
