ABOUT THIS COURSE
This foundational online course will provide you with the information you need about end-of-life care and medical assistance in dying.
Please note that this course does not provide you with the training you need to provide comprehensive care at the end of life or medical assistance in dying. Completion of this course is a pre-requisite for participation in the face-to-face End-of-Life course.
EXPECT TO LEARN HOW TO:
- the legal and regulatory landscape related to medical assistance in dying;
- how to make an informed decision about whether you want to include end-of-life or medical assistance in dying in your practice; and
- how to respond appropriately to—and engage with—patients and their families following a request for medical assistance in dying.
