ABOUT THIS COURSE
Doing your part to build a respectful and productive work environment is crucial to your success as a leader.
This Physician Leadership Institute course, Crucial Accountability© by Crucial Learning©, builds on your crucial conversation skills* to help you master performance and accountability discussions. You’ll practice skillful ways to motivate and move others to action respectfully. And, by learning to hold each other accountable, you will avoid some common causes of burnout such as rework or lack of follow up.
Crucial Conversations©* is a prerequisite for this course. It teaches leaders how to manage all types of conversations candidly and respectfully. If you’ve taken the course more than 24 months ago, we strongly encourage you to review those materials before participating.
EXPECT TO LEARN HOW TO:
- learn how to hold one another accountable;
- identify the gap between expected and actual performance; and
- build a more respectful and effective work environment through strengthening accountability.
This course can be tailored and delivered* to physicians and/or interdisciplinary teams at your organization, meeting or conference. We’d be happy to work with you to find the right course for you and your organization. Please complete this brief questionnaire, and one of our learning specialists will get back to you to discuss options.
*Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, courses will be delivered virtually until further notice.
